- SynopsisChildren queuing at a Christmas cinema matinee accept sweets from a passer-by and collapse. The man responsible, a psychiatric outpatient, is finally traced and, on being made to realise what he has done with the barbiturates, helps the police retrace his steps. He is attacked by an angry mother and escapes. Meanwhile some children known to have accepted sweets are alone in the woods. After a mock tea party they eat the sweets and later are found unconscious. In the morning Lacey is seen in a deserted playground and after a chase is finally cornered. In hospital the children eagerly await Christmas, the playgrounds are full again of excited children. (Synopsis)
