- SynopsisComedy. Elizabeth Foster, the super-efficient secretary of London jeweller David Walsh, finds herself in the way of some thieves attempting a smash-and grab robbery, and they abduct her as they flee. Keeping her locked up in their 'borrowed' mansion hideaway in the countryside (while its owner, as one thief explains, is on holiday in 'the Bananas'), Elizabeth tries to escape and also teaches the gang some housekeeping and cookery skills. They plan to commit one more robbery before they leave the country, and in this time David follows a clue Elizabeth has left him in a bid to rescue her and bring the crooks to justice. (Synopsis)
