- SynopsisTwo criminals, Marks and Connor, are betrayed to the police by a master criminal with whom they work called 'The Terror', after a gold robbery and sentenced to ten years in jail. Ten years later, at the Monk's Hall Priory guest house, an organ is heard at night and the ghostly spectre of a monk wanders the grounds leading to the belief that the house is haunted. A number of people arrive at the priory, including Marks, Connor and a perpetually drunk young man. When Marks is found murdered, the police are called in and the owner of the house is eventually forced into confessing that 'The Terror' is behind the ghostly occurrences. Marks and Connor had arrived to try to find the gold stolen ten years previously. 'The Terror' had killed Marks and then tries to bury Connor alive in an underground crypt, but he escapes and both he and 'The Terror' are killed in an explosion when the police blast their way in. The drunk young man turns out to be a police officer who had been tracking down 'The Terror'. (Synopsis)
