Synopsis: To escape the civil war in Sri Lanka and gain entry to France, a former Tamil Tiger soldier, a young woman and a little girl pose as a family. After moving to a housing project in the Paris suburbs, they must decide what kind of relationship they want to have while also holding down gruelling jobs, maintaining a stable domestic life, and looking after a ‘daughter’ who belongs to neither of them.
