Synopsis: Parole officer Simon Garden is moved within the service because his former co-workers found him blindingly irritating. In Manchester he accidentally witnesses a murder committed by a corrupt cop, D.I. Burton. When Garden gives himself away, Burton frames him for the murder. The murder was recorded on CCT and the incriminating tape is hidden away in a bank vault. Garden recruits several of his former 'cases' - now rehabilitated - to help him carry out a daring robbery.
