Synopsis: Tv play. George O'Brien, a black South African living in Ealing, London, is jobless and deserted by his wife. He turns for help to the preposterous Canon Caper of Christian Underground, an anti-apartheid organisation. Instead the Canon asks George to help Henry, another Cape-coloured refugee. Suspicious of Henry's strange behaviour and haunted by memories of being tortured in South Africa, George fails to find consolation with Carrie, his Cockney girlfriend. He eventually decides to take his own drastic measures in the fight against apartheid.
