Synopsis: In the late 1950s, Lanny Morris and Vince Collins are America's top entertainers, stars of TV charity marathons and nightclub gigs. But when a young woman is found dead and naked in their hotel room, their partnership sours and they vanish. Fifteen years later, reporter Karen O'Connor tries to solve the mystery and in doing so becomes mixed up in the partnership's emotional dynamics.
