Synopsis: Geoffrey Hainton rushed out of a cinema before the end of a film he was watching. But did he do it because he wanted to avoid the consequences of some unusual events which happened in the cinema, or was he embarrassed by his own performance in the film? Shortly afterwards, he pressed a charge of blackmail against Grace Moresby, whose 10-year-old daughter was in the cinema with Mr Hainton.
