Synopsis: Locked out of his flat in the rain Giles De'Ath, respected old-school novelist, reluctantly finds shelter in a local multiplex cinema. He chooses to watch an E. M. Forster adaptation but finds himself instead watching "Hotpants College II". As soon as he sets eyes on the star of the film, Ronnie Bostock, he becomes infatuated and obsessed.
