Synopsis: Set in Wales in 1843. Anthony Raine returns from service in India with thoughts of childhood sweetheart Rhiannon uppermost in his mind. He soon realises, however, that the peasants have got problems including a tollgate tax levied by the drunken lord of the manor. Raine decides to dress up as a mysterious masked avenger, Rebecca, to win back Rhiannon and right the wrongs done to the peasants.
