Synopsis: Psychological thriller: a psychoanalyst is found dead, apparently from suicide. One of his patients, much shaken, thinks he has probably been murdered and starts an inquiry among the psychoanalyst's other patients. Dr. Whitset, an eminent psychoanalyst, is found dying from a gunshot wound in his office. All the evidence points to suicide. Amongst his few, selected patients, Alex Stedman, a television celebrity, is profoundly distressed by his action. Stedman, who shuns any personal entanglements, is visited by Catherine, Whitset's fourteen year old daughter who begs him to clear her father's name and find his murderer. Stedman meets his fellow patients and cannot believe any of them guilty.He begins to doubt himself when Catherine reveals the name of the last patient?
