Squeaky Little People (Original title)
Date: 2004 (Release)

Country: United Kingdom

Director: Alex Campbell

Synopsis: This film was produced by two of the youngest and two of the oldest members of the Unit. Cameraman Richard Oastler and Director Alex Campbell were 1st and 2nd year pupils (aged 11 or 12), whilst Sound Engineers James Ancell and James Birkett were in the Upper Sixth form (aged 17 or 18). They combined to produce this study of what it feels like to be a new pupil at a large school. Abingdon's own Victorian 'Big School' buildings, which also featured in Grigsby's first film, "No Tumbled House" , are again the backdrop for much of the action, which shows 'Lower School Boys' trying to negotiate their way down crowded corridors, or pushing their way into lunch queues and tuckshop lines. The part of the new boy is played by Rory Copus, an Abingdon pupil who has appeared in several film, radio and television productions, including "One for the Road", with Harold Pinter. (Nb.
