Synopsis: A compilation of five schools programmes originally broadcast under the series title `Maths Everywhere'. Employs cartoon animation to encourage pupils to use and apply maths in real-life situations and relate their skills, knowledge and understanding to the outside world. Features Madge the Mathemagician and space traveller, her Galacta-cat, Barker and two earthling children who act as her helpers, as she explores a range of mathematical problems. The five programmes were shown in two blocks as follows: `Moving Around' comprising `Which Way?', `How Do I Get There?' and `Signs and Symbols'; and `Control and Chance' comprising `Who's in Charge?' and `Games'.
