Synopsis: Drama set in Quebec at the end of the nineteenth century. After the death of her mother, Yvonne is raised by her strict older sister Helene to become a nun. But Yvonne falls in love with the man Helene wants for her own daughter. As things spin out of control, Yvonne gradually discovers herself and the need to shape her own destiny.
