Synopsis: Clarence Flamer, popular sharp and rude host of a late-night phone-in radio programme is drawn into a world of small-town rivalries, incurring the vengeance of many with vested interests and his own life put in danger, after one phone call from Helen, whose husband is involved in a scandal which is driving him to the edge.
