Synopsis: Science fiction thriller. Dr John Rollason and his wife Helen are in the Himalayas on an expedition when stubborn American Tom Friend arrives and it becomes clear that Rollason is planning to join Friend on a risky trek to find the legendary yeti, or abominable snowman, possibly a distant relation of Man. If found, Friend wants to trap one and take it home dead or alive, but Rollason wants to study and photograph them without harming them. The expedition encounters difficult situations in the high altitudes as they begin to close in, they believe, on their quarry.
