Synopsis: Adaptation of Tom Stoppard's play about the Solidarity movement in Poland. Between August 1980 and December 1981, Poland tried to join two opposing concepts: freedom (as it is understood in the West) and Socialism (as it is known in the East). Understandably, this failed.
