Synopsis: Comedy about two rival breweries; corporate, profit-driven Ironside and traditional, quality-driven Greenleaf. Both are family concerns. When Edward Ironside's ruthless son John determines to take over Greenleaf's pubs he aims to do so by charming old Tom Greenleaf's daughter, Margaret. But he little supposes that he will find much to admire in her and in her family's brewery.
