- Content descriptionPhotograph taken outside 'W. Hitchcock' greengrocers. In front of the shop a man (standing) and boy (mounted on a pony) pose for the camera. Both wear khaki. Flags adorn the front of the shop. [A number of sources have described this photograph as showing a young Alfred Hitchcock with his father, William. However, it is more likely to show William Hitchcock senior with his older son, William John Hitchcock, and to have been taken sometime between 1897 and 1902].
