Synopsis: As a cost-cutting measure Calvin Palmer now shares his Chicago barbershop with a beauty salon operated by his business partner Angie. But with gang violence on the rise in the South Side of Chicago, the survival of Calvin’s business comes under threat. When a weekend-long ceasefire is called between the warring gangs, Calvin decides to offer free haircuts for the duration of the weekend in the hope of reviving the fortunes of his barbershop and the local neighbourhood.
