Synopsis: Political satire. In a fictional country and time security guard Joe lives and works in an oppressive dictatorial regime, in which the original dictator has recently been succeeded by his son, Maximilian II. Joe is keeping guard on Thorne, a political prisoner, but begins to be influenced by his ideas. When a revolution takes place Joe is soon disillusioned as the new rulers turn out to be just as oppressive as the old.
