Synopsis: The story of the violent criminal, Sergei Maduev, captured in 1990 after a violent spree of robbery and murder and the prosecuting counsel, Natasha Vorontsova, an experienced lawyer. She fell in love with him and tried to help him escape. She is now serving seven years in a labour camp and he is on death row. Contributions from Sergei Maduev; Natasha Vorontsova in a woman's labour camp; Senior Prosecutor Leonid Proschkin; Chechen Mafia godfather Djapar Uhaev; lawyer Nikolai Nikolaevich; and the secret KGB film used to entrap Natasha.
