COMEDY. Boy tricks his father into drinking castor oil. The latter is obliged to defecate in a series of unlikely places, to the evident disgust of members of the Parisian public. A mother obtains from the chemist some castor oil for her young son. The latter switches cups at breakfast, so that his father unwittingly drinks the medicine. The father becomes distressed while detained by a friend in the street, then manages to find a lavatory. He next relieves himself in some bushes, to the consternation of a courting couple on a park bench; in a news vendor's stall; and finally in a mortar at the chemist's, where the mother has returned with the son (296ft).
