- SynopsisA five-part unit of the topic-based series, filmed in Delhi and Leicester, which provides a resource for environmental education and geography, comparing the immediate locality with a distant location. Mina has just moved into a new house in Leicester. Unsure whether she is going to like her new street, she writes to her cousin Sonu in India to tell him about it. Sonu replies, telling her about the street where he lives. The programmes draw upon song and story, as well as the family lives of Mina and Sonu. They are: My street; Water for life; Bikes, buses and cars; Going to the shops; Why we need trees. (Synopsis)
