Knight in London - A KNIGHT IN LONDON (a.k.a Eine Nacht in London) is a 1928 British-German silent drama film directed by Lupu Pick and starring Lilian Harvey, Ivy Duke and Robin Irvine. It was one of a significant number of co-productions between the two countries in the late 1920s. The film's direction and the cinematography by Karl Freund were widely praised. Michael Powell is credited as editor Remembering it in 'A Life in Movies' Powell comments 'I knew Lupu Pick as a fine director in Germany...His film was beautiful to look at because it had Lilian Harvey, and the photography was up to UFA's best standard...I cut it from eight reels to five [and] collected fifty pounds in the hand (an enormous fee for me)' - MLP-1-1-5
