- SynopsisLocal newsreel of fete held in Sydney Gardens, Bath, in aid of local hospitals. (Synopsis) Countess Waldegrave, accompanied by local dignitaries, walks past a line of uniformed men in grounds of ?hospital (31) The procession, which includes the Countess, the Mayor and Mayoress of Bath, continues past a line of nurses and mounts an outdoor platform. The orchestra plays anthem. Speech by the Mayor (C.H.Long), pan of audience, ?town crier announces Countess Waldegrave, who makes speech and is presented with bouquet by child (Victor Ames). Speech by man on platform (194) A Ford ambulance, presented by the Licensed Victuallers' Association, is driven up in front of the platform (228) Two Red Cross women make speeches from the platform (260) A stall in the fete (276) ?Members of the Licensed Victuallers' Association stand by the ambulance.
