- SynopsisDisaster spectacle with political thriller elements. A series of freak weather conditions has led the world’s leaders to create an intricate network of satellites, like a protective umbrella, to control the global climate. The network is called Dutch Boy, and it is a great success. But shortly before the USA is due to hand over control of Dutch Boy to global control, the satellites start to malfunction in horrendous ways, causing sudden killer ice storms in the desert and at the beach, deadly city heatwaves and tidal waves. A worldwide geostorm begins to develop that could feed off itself and wipe out life on earth. Scientist Jake Lawson, who created Dutch Boy, and his younger brother Max, who works in government with access to the White House, are tasked with fixing the problem with Dutch Boy. In their race against time they discover that the source of the malfunction may be deliberate, and if so, it could come from very high up. (Synopsis)
