- SynopsisA team of two women and a man led by Dr John Markway, an open-minded professor of anthropology, undertake to investigate the frightening phenomena at Hill House where three deaths took place nearly a hundred years before. The tension under which the investigations take place is heightened by the emotional entanglement of three of the team. The appearance of Grace Markway who defies the ghosts and suddenly disappears, leads to the death of one of the women. The house has added another victim to its death role. (Synopsis)
