- SynopsisSet in the Rwandan genocide of 1994. A young volunteer schoolteacher and a priest struggle to maintain a secondary school which has become a shelter for Tutsis and Hutus after the Belgian UN troops who were based there move out. Troubled that the ethnic hatreds and distrust are starting to creep into the school and knowing that it is only a matter of time before they are all killed, the two non-Rwandans cope and struggle in different ways.
