- SynopsisDuring the Northern Ireland Troubles, Paul Sullivan, an American civil rights campaigner, is murdered in Belfast. Senior British policeman Peter Kerrigan is called upon to investigate the murder and with the assistance of Sullivan’s girlfriend and fellow campaigner Ingrid Jessner uncovers evidence of illegal anti-terrorist tactics by the Northern Ireland police force and a criminal conspiracy at the highest levels of the British government.
