- SynopsisNew York, 1929. Fat Sam's gangster enterprises are under threat from his rival, Dandy Dan, whose new weapon, the splurge gun, has rendered Sam's custard pies obselete. Sam asks Bugsy Malone for help and Bugsy recruits an army of the down-and-out to help Sam. Meanwhile, Bugsy is romantically torn between the sweet, ambitious Blousey Brown and the seductive Tallulah. A huge splurge gun fight at the climax ends with a friendly song and dance session. (Synopsis)
