- SynopsisAfter witnessing the death of his grandfather, Jake tries to make sense of his dying words by following a series of clues that take him from Florida to the Welsh orphanage where his grandfather once lived. When Jake arrives at the secluded orphanage run by Miss Peregrine, he meets the residents known as Peculiars who each possess an unusual ability. But the safe environment that Miss Peregrine has created for the Peculiars is threatened by Barron, the leader of their sworn enemies known as the Hollows, who believes that the key to immortality can be found through hunting the Peculiars and Miss Peregrine.
