Romantic drama. In Michigan, USA, Ethel Ann buries her husband, Chuck, and starts drinking instead of grieving as her daughter Marie expects. On a hillside in Belfast, a young man, Jimmy, digs up an old gold ring inscribed with the names of Ethel and Teddy.
