- SynopsisSecond of four shorts made by Indian directors on the subject of Independence. The ambassador car is a common sight on roads all across India, and has become a measure of something "truly Indian", and yet it has a history that connects it to British Colonialism. It is an English design that has been adopted by Indians and adapted to the Indian roads. This is a light-hearted investigation into what the 'Amby' means to drivers, passengers and car lovers and what it symbolises about India. (Synopsis)
