- SynopsisPeriod drama centred around a young Jewish girl's search for her father. Fegele's father leaves Russia for America in search of a better life. He leaves his young daughter in the care of his grandmother, intending to send for them later. With the rise of Nazism in his absence, Fegele loses her grandmother but manages to escape on a boat bound for England. Adopted by an English couple and re-named Suzie, she eventually makes her way to Paris, and then to America where she manages to trace her father. (Synopsis)
