- SynopsisProduction footage for the OMNIBUS programme on Quentin Tarantino (tx. 25.10.94) of an interview with producer Richard Gladstein. Gladstein begins by describing how Monte Hellman sent him the script for RESERVOIR DOGS, which he was impressed by, although he had worries about the language though not the violence. He talks about the film's reception at the Sundance festival and later its worldwide reception, commenting on the selling of the film by Miramax. Gladstein describes the origins of PULP FICTION and the deals made over its production, the production of the film itself and the film's casting. He says that Tarantino has a great deal of independence in what he makes because he inspires confidence in those around him. He concludes by giving his views on the way Tarantino has become an example to young film makers and how this could be either good or bad. (NFA Catalogue)
