- SynopsisBelfast, 1975, on the eve of a ceasefire brokered by Loyalist and Republican leaders. Kenny is a Loyalist gunman having unspecified doubts about his vocation. Ginger, on the other hand, is a psychopath who mutilates his victims after killing them. On the other side of the divide Liam Kelly, a Catholic widower, is doing his utmost to raise his children in the shade of the violence. Liam gets lost on the streets during a battle in which a 15 year old Catholic is killed. He is beaten up and taken in by a Protestant nurse, Ann, who turns out to be Kenny's estranged wife. Meanwhile, Liam's daughter, Caithlin, crosses into the Protestant sector in search of her father. When the Loyalist leaders decide that Ginger has to go, the dirty work is left to Kenny. When the various characters become involved in the building crises, violence erupts. (Synopsis)
