- SynopsisACTUALITY. Single shot. Boys bathing in a Venice canal. Group of boys bathing in a Venetian canal, some diving in, while a number of young girls look on from windows and a doorway. There is a ladder leading down from the doorway to the water, and the prow of a gondola to the right. One of the boys bathing is attached to a rope held by one of the window onlookers (51ft/35mm). Note: Originally filmed in 68mm. One of a number of films taken in Venice by William Kennedy-Laurie Dickson in 1898.
