- Work historyThe film was first passed by the British Board of Film Censors on 1 April 1943 at 10080 feet (112 mins) under the title 'Sabotage Agent'. It was resubmitted to the BBFC with the title 'Tartu' and passed on 13 August 1943 with the same footage count. It was eventually registered with the Board of Trade on 1 October 1943 with the title 'The Adventures of Tartu' and a footage count of 9286 feet (103 mins). It was released in that same month. Harold Huth (Associate Producer), Laurence Evans (Production Manager) and W.J. Dodds (Assistant Director) were all credited on-screen in the opening credits of 'Sabotage Agent', but the names of all three were removed from the on-screen credits for the final release version, 'The Adventures of Tartu'.
