- SynopsisThriller. A narrator introduces three tales of unusual murders. Story 1: In the Picture: In an art gallery an intruder meets a guard and lures him inside a painting they are looking at - or could these be the guard's thoughts as he is assailed for real? Story 2. You Killed Elizabeth: Two friends, outgoing Edgar and gentle George, love a girl called Liz. When she is killed, was it Edgar when drunk or George through jealousy? Story 3. Lord Mountdrago: A pompous MP belittles a Welsh fellow MP and suffers a series of dreams in which he is humiliated. The Welsh MP seems to know what he has dreamt, and even to bear physical evidence of his own participation in the dreams. This unsettled Lord Mountdrago at first, but then he wonders if he can use it to his advantage. (Synopsis)
