- SynopsisHorror film about a Chinese criminal underworld gang. In 1910 Captain Jackson Sale arrives in Hong Kong, where he immediately becomes embroiled in the workings of the Red Dragon tong, an organized crime gang who rule through terror and dramatic slayings. Their work involves grand-scale theft of all arriving shipments and a brisk international trade in opium. With tragedy striking under his own roof, Sale sets out to confront, unmask and topple those behind the tong, which leads him into great danger. He encounters as much hindrance as help from the locals and the local authorities alike. He also becomes involved with a young lady called Lee, who was sold to a tong member but has made a risky bid for freedom. (Synopsis)
