- Work historyEnglish language version of La Bataille The 1943 reissue of the film, Hara-Kiri, was cut by approximately 1500 feet and had a foreword added relating to Pearl Harbour and Japanese perfidy, as well as an epilogue about the cowardice of hara-kiri. These changes transformed the film into an anti-Japanese wartime propaganda film.
