- SynopsisThe sale of her wine provides the national income of the tiny Duchy of Grand Fenwick. This wine suddenly becomes explosive and the state in bankruptcy. America sends a million dollars, allegedly for rocket research, and Russia an out-of-date rocket. Professor Kokintz and Vincent, the Prime Minister Mountjoy's son who wants to impress Cynthia his girl friend, decide to launch the rocket powered by the explosive wine. Spender, a British agent, discovers that the American money is being misused to renew the castle plumbing. Mountjoy orders the rocket to be launched to elicit more money by its failure, but Kokintz and Vincent, despite American and Russian competition reach the moon first and bring back their competitors as well.
